Still Life Paintings

I was told to research Dutch Still life as it was a golden time of paintings of Still Life. I came across in my research a man called Willem Kalf who was a painter who specialized in Still Life in the 16th century. He was famous as his paintings had great composition and luxurious objects that was expensive and appealed to the wealthier people.
Here are a few examples of his work.

I like the way the objects are positioned in a way that it looks appealing but looks like someones table in a house and its a mess in my opinion its household things put together to make an interesting image.

I would like to try and create photographs similar to this, which maybe i will in another term i do like the idea of composing objects to create a good overall image.
