More beach images 

I have taken more images of the aerosol can but changed the direction of the light i have been using a ring flash and other lighting but this time i only used the ring flash and detached it from the camera and half it to the left of the object to create shadows. I did this as the lighting is a key thing in Still life photography. 

The brief for this term was Tradition and to incorporate that into this i am looking in to the tradition of Still life images. Still life Photography of paintings are objects which could be flowers, skull, a vase or food. The objects are simple and these objects were what was only available to painters in the 16th century. The black background or a black draped cloth is what you find behind the objects with side lighting to bring out texture and variations between highlights and shadows. Which is what i have tried to create in my images i i think it has captured the texture brilliantly. 

I do like this image as i have taken it front on and got the whole of the can in the image and not cropped any of it. This to me looks like Still life images as they are all taken straight on with nothing cropped and all in focus.
