Beach images

At a visit to the beach i came across some objects that would be great for my project. I was looking out for something to take images against a black background and these seem perfect. I wanted to see what the results would look like and if it looked more like forensic of Still like images. I found a fabric pouch which was all tattered and stained by the beach. The pouch in a way has decayed and died as it is no longer and could be a pouch.

I really like the use of depth of field and have done this in some of my other image i think this gives it a more forensic photography style as when it comes to still life images everything is in focus. 

I think this image and the images below are interesting i scrunched the cloth to make it look more 3D and i think it really stands out and does give the look of  a Still Life photo. 

I'm pleased with the way the images have come out i think the cloth really stands out against the background i think its the colour of the cloth that has made it work best. For example the images i did of the plant was dark and wouldn't have been seen as good if it wasn't for the white background.
