Raw Fruit Images

I have taken images with he feedback on board and concentrated on taking my images in Raw.
I used rotten fruit with i left to decay enough to get some good detail to photo. I just concentrated on the same theme i have taken the other images for example in colour and a white background as i just wanted to experiment with the Raw processing. The first set of images was with apple, i am a little unsure with images as i think the overall colour is bright and doesn't give the effect of decay as the colours of the plant was all brown and grey and for me that worked.
Here are the image i have taken.

I have put the two pieces of apple together to see the effect of more than one item in the frame i do like it but i think a singular object in the frame is more dominate than two.

Before i took these images i did some background research on actually the difference on jpeg and Raw as i have never seen an example i came across so many videos and websites. A particular video i found interesting what about editing the jpeg and raw image of both the same thing as the camera was set to take one of each file. The video amazed me on how much you can do on the Raw file than jpeg and how you can use the white balance to a huge advantage to jpeg images. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4X8BhlsxVk

I found a great simple explanation of the differences between the two files in the "Langfords Basic Photography 8th edition" book i found it helpful and understood the difference and what each file can do with its advantages and disadvantages.
